Well, i guess that's a little worse than a particular FFDO who did the same thing w/ a cop trying to get out of a ticket. Least he did have a gun with him.

I saw a Delta pilot shopping in Trader Joe's once. He was in full uniform, hat and all!

Another time, I saw a Mesaba pilot in a FedEx Kinko's in full uniform, with the hat AND blazer. He was also wearing his aviator sunglasses and had a huge, awesome mustache.

Bunch of dorks!

A pilot being able to afford something at Trader Joe's? Shocker.

Ok, that's fine. but wearing your hat inside FedEx Kinko's?? Come on!!

I have had to run into stores going to/from work before, but I don't go in there with my hat, tie, ID and blazer on!

I guess it is ok to make fun of the TSA "smurf" that wears his uniform in stores, but as soon as I make fun of a pilot for it, it is wrong.

I'm confused about when you are suppose to wear the hat and not wear the hat. If you wear in INSIDE the airport why would you not wear it INSIDE the Kinkos? Do you have the same rules about wearing a hat (or cover in my current language)? Seems simple to me - presently you do NOT wear a cover indoors. Is each airline different?
