What kind of base is Charlotte, is it senior? What is QOL like for PSA guys & gals? How many nights away from home? I might apply in the spring when I should have ATP mins...

Charlotte is the senior base. Nights away from home I'd guess are about average, typically four day trips. At least before, sounds like they're tacking a fifth day on now, I thought that was against the contract. There's something like 70 guys on furlough...and a bunch in the "pool" so I'd say apply whenever they start hiring but don't hold your breath.

According to Parker, Mesa has a contract through 2011. There are provisions allowing them to remove small amounts of flying before then but that has nothing to do with the 900 rumor. That rumor is based on Mesa going T.U. and them placing the 900's elsewhere.
