Yeah it's just interesting because he has been very pilot friendly since coming aboard. Maybe he was under pressure from someone else when at SKW??? Who knows, glad it appears to be a good deal for both of us though.

Well I'm very happy to hear that he's now changing his ways. He needs to not just be a company man when it comes to Mgmnt but also when it comes to his labor groups.

The one main thing that I did respect about Holt was that when you asked for something he always gave it to you straight. Too bad his answer was ALWAYS..............NO. Hey he was consistent. LOL!

Guess we'll see when negotiations ramp up in a few years.

Time will tell but in the end he will do what’s good for the company and the majority of it will be good for you guys as well. Look for him to take the SKW mentality and implement it ASA.

He was quick to get us crew meals and a line check airman told him the planes didn't have sun visors in them and BH said he was going to take care of that. Sure enough last week I saw a brand new set of visors in one of the planes with that planes tail number on it. Hopefully I start seeing more of those. It's little things like that that make a difference, in my opinion.

Glad to hear it. ASA needs a good working relationship with Mgmnt and Jerry probably fired him up with one of his famous speeches which caused him to correct his ways. Now he's bound and determined to turn all of you into company men so that we can meet the demands of our codeshare contract. In order for the company to succeed it’s imperative that they correct the errors of your former Mgmnt team and get all of you on board.

Reagan’s words are probably ringing in his ears.................."Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!"

I live in ATL (Roswell. GA) and I used to be based there as well. We didn't have parking for a very long time but the minute BH took over at ASA we ended up with ASA parking passed. RG (Chief Pilot him ORD) called him on the phone and the next day we all had them in our boxes. That did impress me.

The very first time I parked in the lot, not ONE ASA pilot would talk to us. I didn't care that much, I'm proud to be working for SKW; but over time I could see that change was happening and it was/is for the good.

Best of luck to all our brother at ASA.

I'm glad to hear that. Carried on many of conversations with SKW guys on the bus. And I don't know how you commute out there from Roswell. My ride from Vinings everyday is just beautiful.
