Dont know how significant this really is, but in my days at Big Sky this name rings a bell(and not in a positive light). He was the CEO at MAIR and Mesaba.
Anyone have any dirt on the guy?

This move may finally bring an end to mesa's long history. I am sure many on here will be happy about this, I for one pitty the ones that work there now. I unfortunetely operate under a contract that was created for the most part due to this scumbug. I think most people at mesaba are still searching for the answer to the question that Bored posted.

But wait... MAIR, BigSky anf Foley had nothing to do with Mesaba. (mantra during bankruptcy and the long hard fought contract negotiations that ended in 04). How could he have been partially responsible? (sarcasm alert).

Somehow, I think Foley was brought in to crush MAG ALPA. JO probably isn't too happy with the turn down of the TA, so he brings in somebody that can hold the pilots over a barrel. That same style showdown is what unfolded at XJ during Chap. 11. While I wish the best for the MAG pilots, it looks like JO is turning up the heat on a potentialy volital contract negotation, if one could call it that. MAG pilots beware, it might be good to stock up on Preparation PH in case Foley plans to do another XJ here.
