Anyway, from what I'm reading so far, it sounds like for someone timing out, what you get in Dec. is based purely on either what mgmt says or what the contract says depending on if you're unionzed or not. Well, we don't have a contract here, so I think the important thing to know is if mgmt can indeed LEGALLY give me non-flying tasks or not pay me guarantee in Dec. |

Even still, with my reduced schedule I'll be blocking a hair shy of 1000 hours this year.
Right there with ya, IMA... I think I might get to 1000 by 2nd week in December... |

I know a flight attendant who has been here at TSA for almost two years and she has flown somewhere in the vicinity of 200 hours. Bid that reserve and use your sick time wisely.

I timed out one year at XJT. I worked all year to make it happen. Ended up with 994 hours in the last week of NOV. I timed out and they had to drop my last trip in NOV and then i bid a line in DEC that was worth 103 hours pay. They had to pay me for everything they dropped. I then bid the first 2 weeks of JAN off also. Ended up getting paid for 2 months without ever having to go to work. It was fantastic.
