so whens the move for management to move down to memphis
|
Vote change in guys, vote ALPA.
When does the vote close? Let's get on the same page instead of using our paychecks to compete against each other. |

LOL, well, I don't think ALPA has one bit of say as to whether company purchases more aircraft ... that would be a little ridiculous ... I said that in regards to the out of seniority transitions/upgrades

Not that you should have turned down the upgrade but I find it a tad bid ironic.;) |

Im sorry but I have to laugh a little when you mention upgrade out of seniority when you are currently at upgrade at this moment and you upgraded, out of seniority.

All I can say is that Colgan went downhill fast after selling to 9E. And don't try and tell me "oh we wouldn't have gotten Q's". Those planes should not move with the pay rates. Colgan treated everyone better before they sold out. What a crappy company it has become. I don't know what it is like at 9e, but it sounds like it is getting better over there. Congrads to happy new Pinnacle guy.

..sorry for the rant, just my two cents |
Perhaps your right, I am just more than tired of fighting them for pay. Haven't you had enough?

Believe me, I know the pay sucks ... I've thought that since day one ... but it's also a job and a paycheck ... so I have a hard time complaining when I know there are so many pilots out there out of a job right now
Another problem before Honan came out with that pay credit memo was that there was such a lack of rules regarding pay credit and you could get nothing or something depending on if you talked to Chris v. Ginger (for example). Us as employees should know, at any given moment, exactly what we're getting paid. This was definitely not the case this past year and I think a lot of pilots were frustrated and fed up with that. although, it's gotten a little better the past few months (I think...) |

I could be wrong, but I think skid might've been referring to the "errors" in pay credits, not our actual payscale (although that needs work too). I've actually met guys who don't care if their pay credit is correct, they never even check it. But I do care and I've fought with the company plenty about getting the correct credit. The whole bit is unnecessary and annoying and stressful, seriously starts to wear you down after the first 10 times.

Just don't pick up any OT... that will save you the headache, and give you more time off!
but a lot of what I was referring to was regarding cancellation pay and hot reserve and runups/repos and that kind of stuff... that was a friggin mess. (not so much anymore now that it's spelled out that we're not getting any hot reserve or runup pay!) |
Speaking of credits... has anyone else noticed that you can no longer see your projected or actual credits on crewtrac? Up until a few days ago you were able to see both block and credit in the summary section, now I only see block. (which does me no good since I usually credit 20, sometimes even 30 hrs more than block.) At the end of the month I note what my credit is so I know it matches up with what I get in the paycheck. How are we supposed to know now unless we through every single day and add up all the credits manually? I know crewtrac was down for a few days, I wonder if this is an honest error with the system.

Im going to send a few emails off to find out what the deal is with this. What they forget is we budget for the following month on what that projected credit total reads.
