Rah To Operate 10 E-190's For Us Airways
 

On November 1, 2008 Republic Airways Holdings entered into an agreement to operate 10 EMB 190s for U.S. Airways in return for the $35 million dollar loan Republic will make to U.S. Airways

I was reading wikipedia I discovered this article....

im gonna need to see something from a slightly more reliable source then wiki. a formal press release would be more appropriate, thats usually the way the company gives their employees formal news like this.

Not to mention the information was added to Wikipedia from 201.230.169.221--an IP address located in Peru. Not exactly what I'd consider credible information.

Bunch of crud, that wiki. No press release to date. While 190's for Airways are not impossible, it would be made known through a press release first. No one finds out what deal BB made until the investors find out. BB makes deals for the benefit of the stock value and the shareholders. He will brag to them before he ever tells his dedicated employees.

The Wiki says the deal was announced November 1st. Today is November 5th. DO you really think that every mouth at RAH would just keep such an announcement under wraps? At least 12 of our resident losers would have posted some rub-it-in comment within five minutes of such a deal, not five days!
