OK, now I gotcha. You know line flying is better then that training department stuff anyway ;) I know what ya mean with the Northwest Airlink thing too. When I used to tell people ExpressJet instead of Continental Express, they looked at me like my dog does when he's confused.

Cheers

You obviously don't get it. I would rather be flying for mainline in a CL-65, even for the same rates but on thier work rules and with the ability to move up into thier larger aircraft than being at the regionals with a dead end at the top of the list. If you could read and comprehend my posts you would see that I am not dogging your for working at Mesaba, but for your attitude... which is the reason regionals continue to thrive and carry a larger and larger percentage of any given mainline carriers passengers.

I take offense...to your pointing me out stobelma...how long have you been at Mesaba, obviously not enough to stand beside your fellow pilots... never once did I disregard ComAir's pilot group, stop putting words in my mouth that I didn't say...I'm just pointing out the factsprovided on this website that regards pay towards FO's, is that so wrong? Are you happy making below poverty line?...I'm not in tune with ComAir's furlough situation nor do I know the seniority list their...

Well its been longer than you. In my opinion, your overall attitude towards everyone else and other companies is wrong. Just because we work for the same company, does not mean I will support what you say and how you act towards others. If you are jumping off a bridge, I'm not gonna follow you because we work together. I'm not the only one to point out your immature attitude so you might want to take a look at what you are writing and think first....it might help you a bit.

Who wouldn't want to fly a CL-65 at mainline???? And why is it his attitude that gave him the ability to fly a 76-seater at Mesaba?

Have you ever thought the reason we still have "decent" mainline wages is because the economical regional airlines fill a gap where mainline can't make money???.... thereby allowing mainline do what they do best - fly large amounts of people further distances! I am tired of people pointing their finger at regional pilots and blaming them for regional jets.

And stop with the "everthing with a jet engine and greater than 34 seats should be at mainline..." BS. It's old and not the reality of today's airlines.

give it a rest and stop trying to blow sunshine up everyone's A**...yea my attitude of helping others, helping furloughees from other companies get interviews with Mesaba is downright wrong, i don't think so...

If you'de get off your A** and stop bashing your pilot group and help some of these guys out maybe they'de respect you a little more...but i know who you are and I'm not surprised who it's coming from, you've never met me so you can't claim i act a certain way...i didn't vote for you

I don't need to defend myself, im not being attacked. Many people are disagreeing with your overall attitude and I will not defend that because I disagree with it was well. You attitude toward other carriers and our own is not common among the majority of our pilots and you are making us look bad.

Save your philanthropy and apply for a peace prize, I get my friends interviews as well, its what normal people do.

What is my overall attitude Steve, if your willing to throw stones, than you should be willing to get hit with them too, my attitude..... I came to Mesaba and was assigned an aircraft that had 76 seats, and I should be attacked because this is wrong? Many people being two? The only other carrier discussed is ComAir, and someone decided to make it personal on me because we were awarded 15 aircraft and ComAir wasn't, and it just so happens i fly it? Go back and read all the post and maybe you'll realize i was fighting to protect your job. Your making assumptions that seem to make me know all hear all see all...i don't know who our how many people at ComAir are getting furloughed, of course I'm distrought at the fact that other pilots are losing their job, just don't make me out to be the bad guy when I'm trying to find out the facts, go read your posts...you took it in a whole nother direction, don't put yourself up on a pedestal...
