The fact your MEC would even present this to the pilot demonstrates a level of fear and weakness that is hard to deny.

Best of luck guys/gals..............I'd ride J.O. into liquidation before I'd come anywhere near this thing.

Cant wait to see the vote.

Form who I've talked to they and their fellow pilots at the base are gong to vote yes. They're worried that if they don't they'll be out of a job or worse. It's obvious what this is all about if the MEC actually encourages the pilots to vote on this crap. It's all about job preservation. We'll see the vote I think is later this month.

So why do you and eaglefly have such a personal vendetta against mesa pilots? I'm serious what gives?

If so, then that's all they're worth...........what more can you say ?

It appears there is no leadership in their so-called union and that's too bad.............living on your knees is tragic, but it's a choice they seem willing to make.

U mean so a non union alter ego carrier can't be formed to undercut their pay rates and fly bigger shinier newer jets? Something I think you are familiar with?

Professional MAG Pilots,

Here is a small sampling of the vague, ambiguous language that is in this TA. Voting yes for this TA is an invitation to actually decrease your quality of life (if that's even possible).

A. Lines of Time
2. a. The Company "will use its best efforts" to group days off...
5. Pairing Construction ALPA representatives "permitted to participate"

...and here is the part that will really come back to haunt you:

9. h. Line Construction
"as efficiently as practicable"
"monthly parameters may be changed"
"target average values may be adjusted"

F. Schedule Changes and Modifications
1. c. Pilot will be returned to their original schedule "as soon as practicable."

7. Ready Reserve
f. "Unless the ready reserve period is extended by the Company", the pilot will be released from reserve duty...

K. New Equipment
O. "Where feasible and possible", the Company shall provide crew lounges...

Missing Definitions?
"Junior Assign"
"Junior Available"
"Controllable Completion Factor"
"Controllable Cancellations"

There's more...it just goes on and on. Please take a look at what's missing from this TA. What's missing from this TA is even more telling. There really isn't anything preventing the company from continuing the unbearable situation we've been in these last few years. This TA in no way prevents the six day shifts, high-duty-low-block days, camping trips, non-commutable lines, "improper reassignments", etc., etc...

I'll summarize the TA for you:

"Where feasable and possible" due to "controllable cancellations" the crew schedulers will "as efficiently as practicable""use their best efforts" to adjust the "target average values" and "monthly parameters" to optimize the "improper reassignments". In short order you'll all be "junior available" and "permitted to participate" in "extended ready reserve periods".

Enjoy those two days off per year...

SEND THIS "TOILET PAPER" TA BACK FOR A RE-WRITE! YOU DESERVE BETTER!

Guys that language does suck. Waaaay too many lopholes in favor of the company. My current contract is like that, and it sucks. We all know what "the company's best efforts" are.....and JO is an even biger pr*&* than my CEO

What SHOULD (but apparently doesn't) disturb every Mesa pilot more is THEIR representatives cowardly refused to stand up and live up to their fiduciary responsibilities to their pilots.

They sent this to the PILOTS to vote (which supposedly is likely to pass) and then ran and hid.

Even if this is rejected, what's to stop the cowards who passed the buck on this to knuckle under with the next version with minimal sweetening and ratifying it with an MEC vote ?

They've already announced their pathetic weakness with bullhorns for J.O. and his boys to laugh at...................you guys are in deep kimchi.
