2, not counting the Freedom stuff.

S5 has codeshares, and has 2 "caspers" as we call them, plus we can share the Repiblic Airways paint scheme planes as needed.

This may be OT, does anyone know if Wells Fargo owns a lot of DCI aircraft?

I know Comair, ASA and SkyWest have a bunch of their leases with Wells Fargo. Mesa also has a bunch of leases with Wells Fargo. They seem to be the number one company to get aircraft lease from.

Thanks, I was under the impression that Delta/DCI owned some of their aircraft or leased directly from the manufacturer. I guess it makes sense though, my paycheck at EV comes from Wells Fargo!

The judge is not going to consider JO's bancruptcy any point of emphasis on whether to uphold an injunction. It had to be based on fact of argument prudent to the injunction (ie. Mesa can't perform as per the contract. Delta says it is Mesa's fault, Mesa says it's Delta's fault). Other business dealings or the hint of bancruptcy would not be a relevant fact for an injunction hearing.

I'm not saying you're wrong but I think that this point would not be given as much weight in an injunction hearing as has been passed around. That's not the judges role at that point. That issue would be more prudent in a trial for breech of contract.

There are still aircraft owned outright. I know at Comair we own 14 CRJ-100's and we also own 15 CRJ-700's. Our 13 CRJ-900's are leased direclty with Bombardier. Mesa owns all their -900's minus the Freedom -900's, some -700's and some -200's.

One ear bud firmly in place, one pulled out. Seriously though, you guys need to get over yourselves. I was offered jobs at mesa and tsa and had the goatee during the interview. I'll shave it in future interviews just to be safe, but not hiring somebody because of their choice in facial hair is beyond retarded. Truly though, I only half wanted the job and had skipped my interview there a couple weeks prior so I suppose I probably wasn't trying very hard to impress them.

That sucks.. that must have been awkward. I'm surprised you got away with it at Mesa and especially at TSA, I remember they were pretty anal about our appearance. Hey if all else fails you can apply to Mesa again when they start hiring.

While true that it should not matter, you should have known going in that it would be an issue. You literally went into the interview looking to pick a fight. I had a full beard before my last interview and, from working in the private sector I can say with confidence that the o2 mask fits just fine if you keep it trimmed. Regardless, I knew if I wanted the job I needed to shave for my interview. Nobody is thinking too highly of themselves here, just pointing out the facts of life.

I know everyone would like to see OJ out of his current position of tyranny. (myself included) But with the way this ridiculous industry works, if he lost his current job he would probably get promoted to a legacy carrier. Seems like this industry is in the recycling biz for CEO's who make airlines go bankrupt.
