Hey, that's actually good news. Thanks for the update, and I'll pass it back...

No, that's one is true.... The Eagle 145 all have the gross weight mods, the TSA planes do not... It was in one of the company bulletins. .....and that is alot of work.

i can't comment on that, cuz I don't know eagle's "standards." i can tell you I'm no fan of tsa mx though. defer, defer, defer. with that being said, i have never felt unsafe in any airplane i've flown. just annoyed when sh!t doesn't work. and none of ours are as bad as when we got the two from mesa. i opened up the logcan when i flew one of those for the first time and there were DMI stickers inside and OUT. as far as they extent of work they'll have to do, i don't really know.

Yes. Allegiant Air. Made fair amount of profit every quarter this year. And unlike AMR, didn't sell assets to do so.

Yep Yep, thats me from EL also, but since they went to a pay site i switched to talkairline dot com.

i agree that eagle getting bigger a/c anytime soon isn't likely...i like hearing everyone's opinion though..

i think as long as eagle operates under AMR and has to worry about APA than it's going to be tough...from talking to someone today they said that APA just filed an injunction after us getting options for more CRJs. i think that whatever happens in/after 2012 with the contract etc. will really spell the future for eagle equipment...i guess at this point it is really a matter of asking what will happen if eagle gets sold after 2012 or doesn't? ...i dunno it's always something interesting to think about...

APA also has stuff filed against AMR for the 7000 pilot deal they had. I don't know the exact details, but if AA fell below 7000 original pilots, AMR agreed to stop using Eagle as feed. APA says the number has been reached, AMR says no. Now its getting legal action. It was a stupid thing to agree to. AA without Eagle as feed would be 00. Zero Zero. Nothing. Nada. Zip. Zilch.

Anyhow, I don't know the exact details of that agreement, but I'm certain someone will come along to correct my deficiencies regarding that!

We'll be lucky to get Beech 1900s with 5 seats removed with the high view APA takes of us!

guys, im a little confused. and i haven't read EVERY thread, so please don't chastise me if i've interpreted incorrectly. but why do "we" (being regional pilots) want bigger airplanes at this level? wouldn't we want them at mainline? and why is apa taking legal action against aa a bad thing?
