Thats why I NEVER get a cup or ice when I ask for a drink. I will just wipe the can down myself and take the risk of whatever diseases it picked up in EWR while in the care of chelsey catering.

I would be careful with this. A flight attendant I was chatting with was proud for slipping eye drops into a drink he gave to a captain he disliked (on another trip I wasn't part of).
The captain ended up calling in sick on that trip. By the way, I thought this was crap and told him so. |

That is actually pretty dangerous. Although for most it will just cause you to puke your guts out for a day or so, it can with the right person or in a strong enough concentration...Kill you. Usually won't get that far but it can cause difficulty breathing, raise and lower your blood pressure and lower your body temperature.

Visine is more than Saline....a couple of drops of Visine will leave you on the toilet for the better part of a day.

That's not cool at all. I think that's something along the lines of a felony, if the cat isn't lying...definitely already violates the regs alone. I can't tell you how I'd handle that if I was on the receiving end.

Have you guys ever watched what a FA goes through. Picking up trash and making nice to a pax that was rude to her earlier. They put up with alot of crap back there while we try to stay awake in the front. Sure they make less have less of an education and are lower in rank.. what ever! THey are still people. And they work harder.
Is it really that big of a deal to cross the belts if you have time? I do it and it has really paid off for me. Full body naked rub down at the hotels. Sitting on my lap when the CA goes to the LAV...topless. The CA that is.:o |

Doing this to an on-duty flight crew member sounds like a federal felony, probably falls under some terrorism statute. I think you could get real prison time for this. I would actually turn the guy in.
This person needs to be turned in. |
I had a FA tell me to walk back to the plane we just swapped from (about 5 gates down) and get some catering stuff because SHE didn't have enough time to call catering and we were running late already. I hadn't even done a preflight or any of my own duties. Before I had a chance to reply, the captain said something to the effect of "Its not the FO's job to do your job. Call catering yourself."
Remember that there are many FA's who believe that if they stayed at ground school a few weeks longer that they could have been pilots too. |
