He just wants to rant on and on about unity and "decent people " who would never try and make more money in an industry that is already close to "sweat shop" level.

"stop trying to rationalize it" is a remark best reserved for the shrinks's ofice.

Well there ya have it! Its all about me I guess Seriously this all sounds very familiar to what is happening at RAH. 2nd year fo makes just over $30, we have people on the street while others are picking up opentime and bidding max sked. With all of the usual RAH bashing that goes on here I figured it was about us.

That said, carry on! Damn PSA'rs (kidding)

$50 sure is a massive pay raise. Giant hurdles created for minimal gains due to narrow minded self interest.

giant hurdles..
you lost me.

Look, being idealogical as you espouse isn't reality in this business. look at airtran, CAL to name two that captains flying open at their premium and 20 year salaries while 100 plus sit at home. nobody cares and I doubt you'll convince me here at central...

it's okay to rant, though,, have at it...good luck to you.

it's not so much a nice ideal, rather common sense, which is learned from others past experience throughout airline history

ideologue I am not.

your two examples, two misgivings make a good deed now?
