Isn't ATL ASA territory? I bet Mesaba takes over SLC and west coast routes from Skywest.
I think Skywest will get the ax from Delta and only operate for United. Delta doesn't like competitors. Skywest Inc. (AKA ASA) will still fly for Delta.

It should be noted that SLC is only Skywest territory because Delta let's them. Just like ATL & CVG with their respective regionals. Everyone has such strong feelings of entitlement.
But seriously y'all better stay out of MSP or we might have to brawl..lol.

DAL hasn't even had much luck axing weak regionals lately...why would they try it with someone who has a billion dollars in spare change for legal fees?

Skywest get AXED.... Are you new to the DCI network? Skywest has DL flying in west coast FOR THE MOST part and ASA has east coast. Because we are both part of Inc. There are certain markets where we can over lap under DCI such as ATL and CVG. But even Skywest presents in ATL is minimal. I do not know the details to all this but during Q&A in training they explained it to us. I got lost about 5-10min into it but got the jist. Also why we have only really bidded for United west coast flying. But a total pull out of west coast from Skywest there will be a ton of overlapping routes with ASA, just don't see that happening. Maybe someone else can explain it better then how I understood it.

All flying under the DL brand from Deltas hubs IS DELTA FLYING. Not Skywests, ASAs, Comairs, etc...
This marks the first time in Mesabas 64+ years of history that we'll have a coast to coast network. Let some of the 900 drivers be excited. Jeez... don't be so threatened Skywesters. We're not planning on taking over. And as for SLC being temporary... who cares? All our routes rotate anyhow at NWA so it's not like a shift in flying is a new concept. Yes kids, Mesaba and Pinnacle were around before the merger.
