Why would they be? As a business RAH is there to make money. As an employment group that is exactly what they want from the company. RAH loaning money to anyone has no relation to furloughs. Furloughs are based on staffing levels for the amount of flying we have. We currently don't have any new flying so staffing levels are not changing. The loan is purely a financial move to keep RAH a strong company. The fact that RAH has the ability and capital to make such investments gives the Union(aka us) more leverage in our contract negotiations.

They can Be Furious all they want, as long as the companies are not violating the contract then their is nothing that anyone can Legally do to stop them

No you weren't, Branded met all expectations, we're still here not operating in chapter 11, taking over the CRJ flying that's going away, and no 170's under CAL's colors for anybody, did I miss any?

Let's bring the thread back to the subject, since the thread is not about you, but rather as to why your boss is lending money to Frontier.

I'm sorry, but a pilot at a regional who is HOPING for a cave in scope clause so that he can fly a 70 seat aircraft under the Express banner doesn't really sound too appealing to me.

Let alone at the expense of another regional, who STILL has a VERY good contract, even after concessions.

No wonder our profession is in so much trouble.

You never get pink/white slips when you jumpseat? You just get on the airplane? Wow. Something you want to tell us?

Didn't you know the 170 is the new 737? (<<<<sarcasm just in case)

Some of these folks actually believe that, and are perfectly ok with it.

Never said you would be.

No... you aren't.

Never said there would be. I've stated the pilot group would never cave for this unless something extremely good was offered to them.

I'd love to but since you keep making personal attacks saying you know who I am all I'm doing is asking you to prove it. You have yet to get anything right so I'm betting you have no clue. You'd said you'd PM me so I'm asking you to do that I'm sure the others would too. Lets get this over with so the non-stop pouting can be put to an end.

I spoke too soon.

Branded met all targets set by the company, but was forced to close under the terms of the new CPA with CAL in addition to the record high fuel prices.

XJT is currently operating a total of 214 aircraft for CAL (10 more than the CPA) to cover the CRJ flying.

You did state in multiple cases that we would be in bankruptcy if we operated branded.

Did I miss any? Why do you want this thread closed? This is about your company not you.

I'm just curious, but what would you consider to be "extremely good" that would cause the pilot group at a legacy to relax scope to the 70 seat level?

We all know how well that worked out in the industry, particularly for UAL when the 777's were coming on board.
