And seems like we have been doing something right to be making that much money to give out, essentially we have saved many many jobs.
Well, guess it depends on what you consider "giving cash". If I remember correctly, XJT pilots "gave cash" to help CAL. If they were unable to "give cash" and help CAL, they would have found another company to do it for them. And the company that CAL was going to go with already "gave cash" in various forms. And none of them were that great for the regional pilot side of things.

Don't forget, after the IPO/spinoff, XJT was operating at a VERY health cost plus arrangement with CAL. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 10% if I remember correctly.

Not tryin to start a peeing contest, but what does RAH operate at?

Ouch! Don't say stuff like that, the truth only confuses them!

Seriously, guys on the street, and pilots flying the 175 for peanuts, but everyone at RAH is ok with BB "investing" the profits on mid to high risk ventures....OoooooK, best of luck guys I hope it all works out.

Let me be the first one here to say to you RAH guys, that I know you guys are going to sell out on the TA. I would be surprised if rates are impacted by more than a 3-5% margin.........PLEASE PROOF ME WRONG, set the standard and give the industry a leading contract for "large" regional aircraft working for a company that is actually generating a healthy profit margin. I mean it, proof me wrong, cause so far, you guys have demonstrated that you will follow the reverend blindly.

If you guys get a leading of the pack contract (wages, work rules, scope), I will gladly come on here and not only congratulate you and your co-workers, but admit I was wrong as it will benefit everyone in the industry. In the end you guys are going to roll on us all, and take a pitiful increase in hourly wages to make the reverend happy....PROOF ME WRONG.

Oh and that money was not to help anyone, those were investments. The reverend doesn't care about anyone, see "Midwest pilots on the street" as a reference.

I will listen to no complaints in the future.
Why would F9 pilots be angry that their company is getting financing?

So you're saying that RAH was the only possible lender in both scenarios? That's a bit presumptuous of you don't you think? It was a business call, nothing more, and it was never intended to help anyone other than the investors at RAH and the reverend. You're seriously blind if you don't think there were other investors looking at both deals, it's outlined in their quarterly reports and disclosed to the SEC, you do know what those are right?

It isn't his job to save the guys at Frontier. His job is to run RAH as best possible. Have you even bothered reading ANYTHING that is going on in the financial/airline industry? Do you have the least little bit of a clue what's going on at F9? Going to undercut them with jobs? Try not to make it so obvious that you know nothing of the deal and most importantly WHY it was made by RAH.

When are you guys going to realize there isn't going to be any jobs left worth going to because everyone seems to be happy flying 70+ seat airplanes for garbage pay.
I'm sorry you can't be +1. (sarcasm)

^not sarcasm.

Once again, you're avoiding my point. Why is RAH giving out loans when you have people on the street? Your pilot group should be absolutely beside itself; where's your union during this?

I just asked my roommate, a furloughed CHQ pilot, this question, and his response was "Because it's the Teamsters." You guys need to do something about this.

Yes I do but as I recall the other lenders were not willing to shore up as much money and wanted to charge a much higher interest rate to F9 which is why they made the deal with RAH and the investment firm. F9 could not afford the interest rates others wanted. The deal RAH gave them saved them a significant amount of money. You mentioned SEC reports I suggest you read them.
