Oh............its out of the HOLY nature of BB? He is not going to save the jobs of Frontier guys, hes going to undercut them with RAH pilots.............
When are you guys going to realize there isn't going to be any jobs left worth going to because everyone seems to be happy flying 70+ seat airplanes for garbage pay.................

No......Its not out of the HOLY nature of BB. Bottom line is Frontier owes RAH upwards of $150 million. That amount was growing at the time the contract was cancelled a while back, and was the reason for the cancellation. BB still wants his money which can be lost during this bankruptcy. This loan will not only make RAH money off interest, but it also protects money owed RAH off the prior contract.
As of right now, this isn't a way to add new flying, but a way to protect money already owed. So yes, that is a GOOD business practice. No CEO would just let that amount of money dissapear. The Frontier jobs will be protected as a result, but you're right, its not why the loan is being made.
You crying about RAH taking over the world with 70 seat flying has no place in this latest loan. Im not going to sit here and say a future contract isn't possible, but its not happening right now or in the near future. There may be reasons to bash airlines flying 70 seat aircraft. There are quite a few operators out there. Not just RAH. However, this has nothing to do with it.

This is good news over at Frontier and Lynx. If monthly profits continue they should be able to pay RAH back and emerge from chap. 11.

What are the chances of RAH buying Frontier?

And MESA? and GoJet?
Hope about Lakes and their low pay?
How about Eagle and their taking flying away from american?
How about skywest and all their 70 seat jets?
or ASA and their -900's they are now flying?
If this industry has cancer...i think the problems go way deeper than any of this.

Sobb,
The pilots voted to give Frontier the money. Just like we voted to get your precious Continental flying that you own right? (sarcasm)
We get it sobb, you hate where you are and it shows.
Why the hatred toward RAH? Your comment on this website with Republic and Midwest was tasteless and..well just dumb! Maybe you should leave the job if you are unhappy. Change your screename to Sobbaroowski
Hope you have a better day sobb

Many of the loopholes in the contract as far as language will get fixed also. At least this is what the talk is among us. Hopefully the TA will reflect. Lets put this topic on the backburner. Take care.

To be clear, or rather more FACTUAL, Eagle didn't "take" anything from American.
On a broader scale, "regional" airlines don't "take", or my favorite "steal" flying from anybody.
The flying belongs to the major/legacy/whomever management/holding company, not the pilots, and it gets allocated as they see fit. And of course we could go down the severely over beaten horse of scope and scope erosion, that's not the point.
We as pilots don't like it, but that's the FACT of what goes on.
