Maybe you should educate your co-workers, cause they're operating under the illusion that this is out of the kindness of his heart.....

TD,

Not all of us come from money, and can afford to sit around reading endless amounts of reports. I read the ones that outlined the fact that both companies were approached by multiple entities, and in the end Midwest chose RAH, because of the economics provided by letting go over half of the mainline work force; and Frontier chose RAH because of it's financial obligations. But your buddy seems to think that this is all the work of charity, again perhaps you should educate them.

BTW, they were talking about you at the old FBO at Hooks, man what did you do to p!ss those people off?

I just asked my roommate, a furloughed CHQ pilot, this question, and his response was "Because it's the Teamsters." You guys need to do something about this.
Why does loaning money have anything to do with pilots on the streets? Either flying is there or it's not. You're roommate isn't even off probation with the IBT and if either of you bothered to pick up the contract he has you'll see that a union protects the pilots it doesn't run the company.

Why is RAH giving out loans with people on the street? Because A)Loans of this nature often yield good returns, B)positions the company much better since F9 agreed to the $150mil bill. C)Money flow doesn't mean we need more pilots. There aren't any more frames to be staffed that's why we don't. If you two over there can't understand that then tell him to go pout on the union board. BB is doing this to make RAH stronger.

170's in CAL colors? In your very wet dreams my friend. Not because of us, but because of a little thing called a scope clause that the CAL guys have managed to hang on with a great deal of integrity.

You're out of your mind, there is no one here that thinks for one minute our management is doing anything that in the end will not be a good situation for the company. Frontier owes us a mountain of money, if we let them fail we loose it all. On the other hand we provide the financing with a fixed rate and we make more on our money then investing it anywhere else right now. This is a business move pure and simple. Bryan doesn't give too hoots about anyone other then the 2400 pilots he has to keep working. And frankly I don't want him too.

If you worked here you'd agree with it as much as we do. I am tired of sticking up for someone else when all they do is ***** and moan about everything our company does to improve its position. Sorry you got into aviation thinking it had a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. The world can always use a dentist, if you start now you'll be trained and ready to go about time the US government starts training Mexican nationals to do that too.

You're right, so why isn't the union protecting its pilots on the street? Instead, members of the pilot group are here defending this. I just don't see it.

Oh my... *shakes head* CAL's scope is one of the best things going for this industry right now.

Maybe you should check the previous page where one of your co-workers is claiming that the reverend is doing this to save jobs. And you're seriously delusional if you think "bryan" gives a hoot about you.

I bet you'll be one of the first ones to roll when the TA comes around....

Again proof me wrong, give us (the industry) a marker. Give us a leading contract. You guys will roll for "bryan", I know it.
