Potential Shift in IAD Operations?
#1
Not trying to stir the pot here, just asking a serious question to see if anyone has heard more than the rumors that I have about ExpressJet potentially taking over Trans States United flying in Dulles? Like I said, all I have heard are rumors to that effect, just curious if anyone has any solid information on the subject.

it is a rumor and it has about as much weight as all the others. We have people at our company who will walk around talking "loud" about what they just heard from so and so... 10 min later it is on our company boards from a reliable source (aka gullible).
There was a rumor going around that there was a big announcement here like two months ago. It was going to be on the 15th and it was going to be about xjt.... everyone had heard about "the announcement" rumor and then you know what it was? colgan got 15 more q400's. Knife through the heart for all those rumor lovers...
Dulles ops cant be any worse then ewr term A was when it started. It might win if what you say is true for continually **** poor performance but for being a notable mention ewr term A you could wait for rampers for 45 min and then an hour for a jetway driver while you are parked, bag door open (not getting paid), with ****ed off passengers, in the meantime there were rampers, gate agents, and open gates over in our old term c, oh and an ops coordinator who stopped responding to radio calls unless you sounded desperate or said your passengers were dialing 911.... that was ewr terminal A for 3 weeks.
