Default 135 ops

I, too, have turned my interest to Part 135...(after training of course). Based on my circumstances, I've identified Mountain Air and AirNet. Both have domiciles in Florida. I believe that Mountain Air's domiciles are determined by seniority. From what I gather, AirNet, on the other hand, is based on an opening at the domicile that you desire.

I'm in the same week as you and have not heard back except for "Welcome to the pool...." Do you meet 170 minimums cuz if so you will probably hear before I do...I'm 100 hours short of XC but have everything else....word on the street is training for 170 is top priority while the 145 takes a backseat...don't know how long. Friend quoted "a month or two" so we're only halfway there....

Actually, not quite. At AirNet, you are given the list of openings in training and in order of class seniority you can pick from the list. In some classes there were no choices and everyone was on LCK reserve until a base opened and appeared on the bid sheet.

There is a weekly bid sheet. You bid runs/base/equipment based on seniority like anywhere else.

It was a great job and had I been smarter, I would have stayed there instead of coming to the regionals.

Sorry, I meant June 14/15 interviews. Anyone get a letter or call yet about being placed in the pool? Sounds like classes won't be until July from what I gathered at the interview. Good luck everyone.

Monday-Thursday; 2000-0600; making at least 27K or more as SIC; plus get Fridays, Saturday & Sundays off. I could still pursue the diaconate. Sounds like a no brainer to me.

It'll be one of the first places I apply to.

It seems like the next classes are end June/ beginning July and then end July/beginng August...

Next class supposed to be very small...

Know of a few guys that interviewed two or three groups before mine, are in the pool and still no word. Then some others have been called for classes, maybe they have a ranking system in the pool other than a 'date-seniority' they use to call you up?

ANybody have other info?

Do you know if the classes for the 170, the 145, or both?
