Not sure where you're getting the 1500 or the 6000. The total marketing hour difference between April and May is 100 hours less.

I think we ARE overstaffed. You keep getting JAs, extensions, and drop refusals simple because that's how Pinnacle operates regardless of staffing levels.
Yeah let's not forget that 2-3 years ago with the same number of pilots, 95 hour lines seemed to be the norm. Now if you break 80 consider yourself lucky. So with the same number of pilots, 75 hours across the board, and no more days off even with fewer hours, the Jr manning/ext will continue.

I heard that were short fo's on the 900 side. With only 50 reserves for 64 hard lines, management is considering sending 20 more fo's to ATL.

Heard from prefbid guys today that system wide were losing 2k hours for May but Memphis is actually up in hours. Detroit flying is losing some hours. Also for June were projected to gain not lose hours. All subject to change of course with the normal DCI shuffle that other carriers have experienced for years.

any reduction in hours is a management thing. not a if we dont get a contract thing.

you are right. i heard from them also that the june hours are actually up from where we are now. so slight reduction next month of about 500 hours, with an increase back up beyond where we are at for june. overall we are about 3000hrs less since the beginning of the year. the bid pack for next month only shows a reduction of about 600 hours from this month

I also think we will be losing hours due to a reduction in aircraft because some will be getting painted.

LoL

My understanding is that we have lost 6000 hours on the "Airlink" hubs in June and July. I think that its a scare tactic. Anyone?

Sending more FOs would mean training them on the -900 first. That would at least a couple months to get organized.
