Yeah, usually more from CSG because of Fort Benning. CSG-ATL is about a 14 minute flight.

Does this mean Regional Airline Pilots are not as under trained as the media said for the past month? Good Job to the ASA Crew!

There are only two possible explanations for this safe landing:

1). These were former mainline pilots, who were furloughed and found work at a regional

2). A mainline pilot happened to be commuting into work on this flight and was quickly brought up to the cockpit to save the day.

There simply is no other explanation.

They must be Sully's kids or even a CFI.... anyone but a "poorly trained" regional pilot.

Nope, sound like they were both gray-hair former fighter pilots..

They did do a good job, everyone got out. I was on the ramp when all hell broke loose and emergency vehicles were lining up for them. The aircraft did depart the runway.

The pilots both earned their $70 net between the 2 of them for that flight.
