I don't think anyone here will disagree with you there. Give the MEC a chance first. There's a lot on the table that needs to be handled delicately.

Dude... Republic is not a National Airline. It's a regional with no reservations, no advertising, no market share, $37/hr FO's, and aircraft painted in another airlines colors. Bedford has alway worked on control costs... Nice job. Let's see if he can sell an airline ticket.

I understand, you guys are stepping up in the airline industry and need to weigh decisions that could effect our profession.

How can you make $45K a year at $37 dollars an hour and no work rules?

My guess is he is including per diem and working his ass off. His base pay is $33,300. That is maxed out unless he upgrades. We should make enough that we should not have to pick up extra time just to get by.

It's a national now sport, the sooner you realize that's what is going down the sooner you can stop *****ing about it and start the grieving process.

That's quite the accusation to throw around when you have no clue. I've never picked up a trip since the day we furloughed. I only did twice before that considering I'm a commuter.

Who says we don't have work rules? I flew 916hrs last year but was paid for over 1020hrs and that's before I cashed in sick time.

I'll tell you that you don't have work rules. Your reserves get a minimum of 4 hours per day. You get block or better and a monthly guarantee of 75 hours. Other than that you have no work rules. You have no cancellation pay, trip regs, or duty regs. If a pilot comes in on his/her day off, he/she gets 4 hours minimum on top of guarantee if gurantee is not broke. Did I miss anything? That's about the extent of your work rules. I'm not sure how you guys are getting so much time other than working like *****s and cashing in PDO's.
