I agree. Indy & Expressjet didn't have a problem rallying the troops and driving them right into a brickwall.

GO SWA! Kick some butt!. I hope Delta drops RAH, as well as all the other majors.

There is already a customer base with Midwest and Frontier, and now RAH can make money with them because the labor costs will be significantly lower, I personally think its brilliant as far as a business decision, however it it will only work if done at the expense of the RAH/Frontier/Midwest pilots, I am hope I am wrong

Nope, not at all. RAH will be gone in 5 years or less.

Midwest pilots will be integrated onto the RAH seniority list. At least those pilots may chose now between being left plain jobless, or continuing to work for RAH. RAH will be flying 190's set at 94 seats for now, so yes the Midwest pilots will work for less at first. Who knows how integration will play out...that will be key to what kind of future Midwest pilots will have at RAH. One possible ray of hope is that RAH will also own Airbus types of Frontier. Those planes will have a higher seat capacity and therefore a higher pay rate will exist. Midwest pilots may have a way to recapture a decent wage. Only time and integration will tell.

How is it easy? They have contracts that are legally binding do they not?

I'm sure the contract has language that prohibits them from competing directly with their legacies. They can probably drop them, but RAH has a big operation and it will take time to phase them out. Enough time for BB to get his other operation going. Do I think it will survive... I hope not. But Bedford, although extremely shady, is a pretty savvy dude.

No, it "ain't". Maybe you don't have any pride left, but I do.

I don't work for RAH, and I have plenty of pride.

Self-immolation is quite popular for pilots to talk about on a message board, but the funny thing about "burning it down" is despite the talk, few seem actually willing to follow through with it.

If you choose unemployment (you always have that option), then best of luck...

Maybe a ray of hope for you. I am so disgusted I can't even type anymore.
