Speaking of the vote, anyone heard when it will begin yet?

Lynx guys~

I'm a current RAH pilot and I'm fully expecting this deal to go through. In response to your above post, I don't think there is any way that pink slips will be handed out. What we're hearing on our end through rumors is that the Q400 operation would expand and BB is already pursuing fee-for-departure contracts with the majors to compete with Colgan. Just like us, you guys need to get your pay adjusted to where it should be and we hope for the best. Per our contract, the lists will have to be integrated, regardless of what our fearless leader wants to happen. That would hopefully allow you guys the opportunity to change equipment or to upgrade to one of our other certificates.

We finally have some people in place at Teamsters who are taking this all seriously. The top dogs were canned and are facing federal charges and we now have some good people running the show at 747. I was ready to vote them out and take ALPA, but we were asked for another chance and so far, we've been pleased. We'll see where it goes from here.

Good luck in whatever route you all go.

Did they repost the FO listing a few days ago?

I spoke with the Lynx recruiter a few days ago and I'm going to apply with them here soon. I already work for Frontier so I'm hoping that will count for something. From what we are hearing on the CS end of things, RAH will continue to operate all of our flights along with Lynx.

Nobody at Lynx wants this. Nobody wants to change equipment and bring the industry down further then it already is. In fact, people are saying they will be willing to quit of this ends up happening.

UTU yes.

It is not a conflict of interest. ALL the ALPA MECs are independent of one another. No one call tell an MEC what to do or what not to do. This conflict of interest thing is a big misconception.

Would you rather be whipsawed instead?
