Not that the last one in Janurary was really worth anything, but Im curious how many people in the local aviation market view Aeroservice, since they were training Replacement pilots, to cross the line during the Amerijet strike.

You can't really blame aeroservice for providing training. If they are contracted and paid by an airline to train crew, then they will do just that. What the trained crew does after they are done with training is beyond the control of aeroservice. Aeroservice had no part in the decision making process of the company that needs crew trained. Blame has to stop somewhere or we can also blame the hotels where these pilots stayed at for providing accommodation. Just my two cents!

Aeroservice is a fairly good place for job fairs but more for foreign carriers, specially Latin American ones since they have contracts with a bunch of carriers for their crews. About them training Amerijet replacements... well, they'll train anybody that can come up with the money, that's their business. Anyhow, I wouldn't go crazy with any job fair these days...

I get that, and pretty much agree, was just wondering what the court of public opinion in Miami aviation was, thats all. I went to the fair they had in Janurary, and it was a total bust waste of time. One airline hiring was GoJet, then you had Arrow cargo, who cancelled classes for everyone they hired before they even began...that was pretty much it if my memory serves me correctly

I'd imagine CapeAir is gearing up for their potential takeover of the EAS stuff in Illinois/STL but who knows.

Not that I know anything about this at all but why would they get into ILL/STL when they just turned tail and ran from IND not to long ago?

I heard from a very barely relyable source that this is not the case. Eagle will not be hireing mearly recalling. However I hope they do hire.

Well since your source is "barely reliable", I will not heed his/her advice and I suggest you do the same.
