You felt that you didn't need to stoop to his level....but the need to retire to your computer and write this up.

Survivor, welcome to APC.....and glad to hear your side of the story. Some people take themselves far too seriously. Myself, I'm more worried about my DH8's 8 MEL'ed items, or my commute home, etc.. rather than some random radio comment.

Me too. I refer to the Dash as a "Dump truck with wings." It's been very good to me.

I read the original post and I thought it was just as useless as the responce. If I got on apc and complained about every Jack hole thing I see and hear at work I would have time to go to work! The second part of my post was just a question I have been pondering lately. I have noticed it seems dash guys are more protective of the plane they fly then other guys.

Was this thread posted, then deleted before?

I know I've commented on a thread *identical* to this one in the last couple weeks...

Bottom line - pilots in every segment of the industry flying all kinds of airplanes say stupid things on the radio. As a fellow Citation pilot, let this stupid crap go...

Yea I remember this thread from a few weeks ago with the identical original post. Apparently he really doesn't like being called a slowtation

If it makes you feel any better, "back in the day," I was a Shorts 3-30 Captain at the FIRST "Piedmont Regional Airline." Anyone who remembers the Shorts knows three things:

1. They're ugly
2. They're slow
3. They're ugly...oops, said that
4. The PT6's left a LOT of soot on the vertical stabs

So...there we are one day, me and my F/O, taxiing out of the BWI ramp, behind another "pig." Piedmont calls for taxi in a very professional voice, hoping to beat us out to Rwy 28.

The ground controllers response? "Roger, follow the dirty pair of Shorts to 28."

Sometimes ya can't win.........
