Unfortunately, there are too many like C175 on here who experience a perverse enjoyment putting down lawyers, non-pilots and women. Some of the other threads are evident of this. I wonder what invectives can be generated if these same idiots know that I am a double minority.

You guys win - my posting days are over.
Never heard of that. That sounds pretty cool.

Alright you two... let's all play nice. C175, I've known a few lawyers that are pretty good people. As a matter of fact, the person who lived next door to me for 15 years was a high profile lawyer in San Francisco. And she went out of her way a lot to help my family out.

And Vagabond, I'm kinda dissapointed that you decided to pull the minority card. I respectfully disagree with that move. Whose to say that C175 isn't a one legged gay hemaphrodite? (I'm not tryin to make fun of anyone, just trying to prove a point. Please accept my apologies, C175!!) Now that's a triple minority. Bottom line- we all bleed the same color. Can you see why all that minority stuff is BS?

We're here because we love flying. Some of us a pilots, some of us are passengers. Some fly jets, some fly props. Heck, some fly paper airplanes! We may be doctors, lawyers or even street cleaners- but we all share that common bond; a love of flying. C175's a great guy.. lots of good advice, and so is Vagabond. Why must we squabble over petty things?

So, back to the task at hand.... anyone interested in an apartment in Memphis for the Aug. 7th Pinnacle class?

First and foremost, can a hemaphrodite be gay?

Second, Vagabond, I understand your being fed up. It must get old. Lawyers do a lot of good, and some do a lot of harm. Hang around, will ya?

On a side note, CL65. I talk to pinch-a -nickle guys about 10 times a week, and they are a very good pilot group. In spite of all the bad things that I hear about the company, these guys all seem to like working there. It's a tight group that watches out for eachother and I am sure that you will find a good home there. Good luck to you.

C-175 you sure you are talking to line pilots. The pinch a nickel is a divisive group, with every pilot looking out for themself. If you go to class at this airline, look around on the first day, because at your checkride only half of them will still be around.

Ever industry has the bottom of the barrel - and you have found it.

Thanks for the advice, King Lear. I'm pretty sure you can say that about any airline ground school. It's never easy, and I don't expect it to be. Been studying my CRJ PRMs like mad, and working on getting those pesky limitations memorized again.

As for the airline being bottom of the barrel.... aren't most of the regionals now-a-days? To me, the pilots I've spoken with personally, love it there. Yeah, the pay sucks... but it sure as heck beats put-putting around in a 172 for $9/hour.
