Anything more specific? It looks like you are based out of PIT, possibly for Republic.

I dont work for republic, but I have heard nothing but bad things about AE. Upgrade to jet PIC is something like 8-10 years . I know someone that was hired at Chautauqua on the E145, then 2 years later he was offered a captain position on the E170.

Republic holdings is also much more diversified than AE and for that reason I feel they are more stable. What happens if American decides to make a move like Continental did to XJT?

We have 3 basesCA, PIT, IND. If you don't want to sit reserve, don't bid indy. Most guys are getting lines right away at DCA and PIT(or they were last month).
The company is ok. Morale is good and their checks don't bounce(cliche', i know). I think that it would be a no brainer to choose shupubliqua over beagle any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
I would say to you to come on board. It's a regional, but is descent.

Thanks for that. I am leaning toward Republic, and I appreciate the bid tip. Any input on jumpseat? Does Republic Airlines just fly for US Airways?

I thought you said they were stable? Then why are they heading for the ground? And this from a probable Riddle grad. Even I, a 1.7 GPA HS grad, knows how to spell decent!

I went to Lewis, and my spell checker is broke. You and sky high are my favorites,; love your surliness(check spelling)

Republics only code share(currently), is USairways. Shuttle America has Delta and UAL. We can ride in the cockpit on any Airways paint scheme(e.g mainline, PSA, AWAC, CHQ, and shuttle). But at the end of this month(finally!) we are too be CASS and you can sit jumpseat with a bunch.
