I find it hard to believe they are purging the entire database, especially those who they have already paid to go to the transition courses, etc. Hiring is still a long ways off, and if you are in the pool or not it is a smart plan to fly as much as you can as quickly as you can. Get your ATP before they change the rules.

i was on the aa career support and i cannot update my phone number. it keeps saying i have the wrong date entered. which is a good number to call to get this squared away?

Then Defer the recall.... most contracts have a deferal option.... just be sure to read the details and make sure it would work for you. |

Have you been following the Flight Time, Duty Time, ARC/FAA things at all? The magic number to fly part 121 will be 1500 with an ATP... as it should have been since day one We now return you to you regularly scheduled program.... |

Anyone think there will be a mass hiring before the rules take effect in order to get as many low time FOs as possible (so that they wont be able to leave for greener pastures, and probably willing to work for lower wages)? Then there will be the rest of the furloughees, then the pool. 10,000 hrs or 250 I don't think you need to get your hopes up about hiring anytime soon. |
