It's amazing that nowdays with the glut of newbies litterally tripping over themselves to fly a shiny jet, that management hasn't implemented another wave of PFT. If I was in management at a regional, I would.

There is not one other regional airline that requires people to pay for their interview. I'm unsure why mesa thinks they can. Especially when you will fork out well over $1,000 for the hotel while in training. What a sh!tbox.
Not comparing ops or QOL at all. Just stating facts. FDX requires one to pay for lodging during training too. Am I comparing the two, hell no! But it doesn't make it right on either side just because FDX is a career company. Point being, if you're gonna bash Mesa or anyone else, do it based on facts and not off of some bandwagon bullsh!t you've read on here before.

I used to work for mesa, and I can tell you based on facts they are a sh!tbox company.

Anything else?

PS I agree that just because one company is a "career" stop that shouldn't make it OK to force new hires to pay for an application, pay for hotel, etc. but at least it makes it bearable.

Just to give you an idea I worked at Mesa for almost 2 years and just left to work for Express Jet. If that turnes any light bulbs on...
