How does it work with your union, cant the Saab F/O go to the Q if they were senior? It seems like to me that if I were currently a Saab F/O and a new hire class got to go the the Q and the base I wanted I would calling my union.

Everyone seems to think the new hire will go to the east coast on the Saab.

A friend was told by Chuck that all new hires will go to the SAAB on the East coast.

If that's not getting it from the horses mouth I don't know what is.

Is this subject to change? SURE.

The company is seniority driven so that would make sense.

FWIW.

Really must be nice to be getting all those airplanes, openings, hiring, seniority progression, etc. You guys should thank all the Pinnacle pilots who are buying those airplanes for you while they're suffering displacements.

Shouldn't it be directed at your management? One list and it would go away.

I agree, Pinnacle and Colgan need one list.

I don't work for either (or, any airline) right now, but back in the day I had a newhire Colgan Q400 guy in my jumpseat and I am still astounded to this day as to his "view" on what was going on there. When you say that you are not only ecstatic that the companies are separate so you can get the Qs, but hope that some CRJs end up over on your certificate too... it isn't forgotten quickly.

So, Colgan guys... It isn't your fault, but remember who is paying for these airplanes and try to do the fair thing by doing everything on your end that you can to get one list.

Seeing one ignorant Colgan guy in your jumpseat certainly does not cover the views of our pilot group.

I am sure we have 10% who would love to get a chance to bid the "-9" at anyones expense just as every airline has its 10%.
