Thanks, Space Monkey. A 50% wash out rate seemed really high. Sounded like something you'd find at the Air Force, not a Regional. Thanks for clearing up some of the BS most people spew on this board.

E9 still is a crappy regional... no matter the wash out rate. All you new hires are just stoked your not flying a 152, give it time to wear off and you'll relize actually how crappy it is. Away from base around 300hrs per bid looking at your MASSIVE $800.00 bi-weekly check, if that. Flight instruct another 3-6 months get the time and interview with Sky West or Horizon a little investment for a huge gain. i.e. QOL! I made that mistake and went to Mesa took me time to relize how crappy it was but I was vested a year in had some 400 guys below me why leave right? Wrong took me another year at that dump to figure it out. When I left I was #1187 out almost 2000 guys do the math up-grade time, wasn't worth it! Now I'm at X-Jet and couldn't be happier some where that treats you like a person, not property.

First of all its 9E not E9 and all regionals are crappy.... All im going to say is that 9E is not the worst however no matter where you go you wil still be hanging out on about $1500 a month to start. As for upgrade times well Im sure you will be waiting a long time at X-Jet as well..... But whatever floats your boat...Just remember that a regional is not a career it is still, always has been and always will be a stepping stone.... BTW whats the latest with those 69 aircraft any new words? just curious?

All of them have found homes except 15 jets. NWA's looking for some 50 seaters the erj will look good in those colors. As far as upgrade the most jr captains longevity 2 years and 2 months. Yes regionals are stepping-stones but I wouldn't want to be at one that’s half submerged.

Well, isn't getting that turbine PIC and moving on what it's all about?
Are you serious?

Hey Low Fuel,

Just curious but where are you getting all this info about pinnacle being half submerged? Another question what is upgrade time looking like for you with all those jets taken away?

It's a crappy outfit and didn't you guys park alot of your CRJ's in TYS. Your parent company NWA looks healthy too. Didn't you read my previous post all have found homes except 15, wont harm me. Upgrade time is just over 2 years were running 2 classes a month of new hires! So I think things will look better for X-Jet than 9E. Best of luck...

Had a son who flew for Pinnacle for about 2 months before realizing he couldn't afford a wife and child on what they paid. He now flies for Flexjet and seems happy. For what it's worth.

This airline is washed up. 40 seat jets = (Money pit), Pilots leaving = (Inordinate training cost escalation). Regionals are all about efficiency. Pinnacle is NOT efficient. Take a look at their financials. All the facts are there . . .

You will see NWA and CAL utilize; Skywest, Mesa and Republic in the very near future. I also wouldn't be surprised if Horizon started bidding as well.

Surely, another person agrees that Pinnacle in D-O-N-E!
