I don't care where they going, my number on the list went up 50 numbers in 2 months. So is good for us, the new hires. =)

35 CAs per month are transferring to AA. Thats the reason for the big hiring binge and junior captain upgrades.

Whats the deal with the driving records? My buddy was sent home because he couldnt get one in time from NY. i sent out requests for driving records today in case I ever get an interview I want to be prepard. Also whats the policy if you cannot get employment verification? I worked for a big corporation that is having a hard time tracking down my info, or I should say their cool automation cannot. I managed to find to old pay studs, would this be ok? I cannot get a hold of their HR either they keep telling me I can only use the automated way.... Am I screwed because they are too lazy to help?

It's just a required document that you are supposed to bring with you to the interview.

How far back was that employer? If it is a non-flying job older than 2 years, it most likely won't be followed up with.

I left in the beginning of 09 and I found out the problem.... Someone swapped two numbers in my social. Instead of it being like 834 they put 843

What do you guys think are the chances of them opening up a MIA CRJ base?

172captain 02-03-2011 01:43 PM

Id say a 1% chance

LAX CRJ base is much more likely in my opinion.

AMR likes to put the CRJs in capacity restricted airports like LGA/JFK, ORD, LAX. We had them in DFW off and on in the past but they never stay very long. MIA would be in the same category as DFW.
