don't worry, that person in charge of dynamic manning on the ramp that caused the dot fines and the person that dropped the ball with hiring will both get a bonus this year! but not to worry, you and I will receive 150% for being jr manned!

I don't accept junior mans. I don't pick up open time. I have a life outside this airline and I don't want to die sitting ready in the crewroom. (It's happened)

I am just chiming in for those of you who, like me, are between 50 and 100 multi-engine hours with an application in to AE.

I hadn't heard anything back since they lowered the minimums, so last night I sent a very professional email to AEPilotRecruitment thanking them for looking over my attached resume and application and just mentioning that I would really like to work for the company. I heard back this morning with the dreaded "Thanks, but no thanks" email.

Just some insight on me for comparison: 1300/88, 30 y/o CFII, FCC license, Passport, IFR current, ATP test, military vet, and currently employed at a well-known aviation University. I have been updating my app nearly everyday as I am flying twins to build my ME time to 100. I'm pretty disappointed in the news, but I have apps in elsewhere. Good luck to the rest of you...

Do you have any busted rides? Speeding tickets? Eagle has treated military vets well from my experience!

did you have any red flags in your app? violations?

Don't worry, maybe eagle is not really the place for you! I was very disappointed when I didn't get hired by expressjet! They had a base 20minutes away from where I lived, that base closed, and i would've eventually been furloughed(i think).

things will work out! :)

Thanks for the encouragement. I had no busted checkrides. I did however get a seat belt ticket last year and (here's the ringer) I had a driving infraction result in arrest (but not convicted) just over 5 years ago. I'm pretty sure that is why they turned me away. My printed driving record from the DMV is blank. I even inquired the National Driver Register. They have no record on me. I felt the need to disclose the infraction because they would probably find it on a background check even though it's not on my driving record. It's a shame really. Just one regretful mistake in my past was enough to turn down what may have been a great employee...

don't beat yourelf up too much, but the arrest may have been the deal breaker for them. Similar story when I tried to get my instructor an interview, they said thanks but no thanks since he had a misdemeanor on his records yeeeeaaaaars ago!

cheers, it's friday!!!

Would being terminated from a previous employer be a deal breaker for Eagle?

Don't worry about it-I'm sure you be hired on elsewhere. Incidently, my husband received a generic email from AmericanEalge@AirlineApps today stating that his application was scheduled to be reviewed within 2 days and if he didn't hear anything within 7 days, to email pilot recruiting. He had an underage drinking ticket when he was 18 (he is now 36). I'll let you know if turns up trouble for him.

Reason for the termination?

MY performance at a bank call center was less than stellar.

Hahaha. Knowing Eagle yes you probably will not get the job. Reason being the final recruitment approval at eagle is done by people that never saw u at the interview. The only regional airline that does this. All they see is termination at Mcdonalds or an offense that happend 10 years ago.
