There was some truth to "you could have what you want before training ended." Vacancy bids where coming out once a month earlier this year. There hasn't been one in a while that's why people are not saying that any more. Rumor is one is coming.

Well I would like DFW but I'm not even in class yet. But I see ORD has erj, what is the cost of a crash pad up their in that cold.
|
I know this is a wide range question but what is junior in a class, like 21 and senior 45 or something? What's the average class sizes in the upcoming months?

Quick question
I have my check ride coming up and it's scheduled in the middle of a trip.
Assuming I pass:confused: when they send me back to my domicile, do I pick up my trip when it comes back through or am I released from the whole sequence? TC |

Heilskov1,
you posted this question on a different thread that was closed because this thread already exist, no need to have duplicate threads. 'hey guys, I have a class date of Nov. 7th. I will probably be one of the older ones in my class. I was wondering if they were offered which would be better for commute out of DSM and for bids? ORD-ERJ DFW-ERJ or ORD-CRJ thanks!' To answer your questions, I am not a commuter but I went on our non-rev program and saw around the same amount of flight, must if not in ERJ. The bad thing about the commenting on the ERJ is that is often weight restricted on hot days or when an alternate is required due to weather. I can tell you that flying the ERJ will be your best option because the CRJ has a very junior FO group and you will not see fast movement there. The CRJ is staffed with allot of FO who have been with the company less than 1 /12 years. SO it will take a while for you to be able to move up. On the ERJ you will see a constant movement. On the CRJ you are restricted to flying out of ORD or LGA "currently". The ERJ is everywhere. You can transfer between ORD and DFW and see where the commute is easier, but not on the CRJ. The CRJ is hands down a better aircraft but the ERJ will give you a better QOL. |
