Pinnacle PA's: Delta Flight xxxx

And the "B-scale" will have fully returned, this time to stay. The original B-scales weren't just aimed at paying some pilots less. Management knew that once these guys had reached a critical mass within the pilot group, their pressure to "equalize" wages would become irresistible. Redistribution of wealth would follow, permanently cutting top-end pilot compensation, which has always been a sore spot for non-pilot employees.

Flew on a Pinnacle, oh wait, I meant Delta flight today.... ATL-PWM, just over 1000 miles, CRJ900, cramed full, left people at the gate that wanted to go... Could not determine who the operator was, It was Delta 898.... all the literature/PA's in the plane said it was Delta, no mention of connection, P-nickle.... left from the A-gates in ATL right inbetween 2, 757s in mainline Delta colors.
I thought I was on a Delta flight, could have fooed me, and I knew better.
I like the Scope angle, there might be something to that

I'll never understand this line of logic! You claim you'll say Mesaba because that is what your paycheck says. Well, the company that pays your check (Mesaba) instructs you to follow their rules, one of which is what to say over their PA system to the passengers. So, by your logic, you would say whatever they want you to say, since they pay your paycheck. In addition to that, the money they get to pay you comes directly from Delta Airlines - who is the one instructing Mesaba (possibly if it is to follow like the rest) on what they want said to their passengers! So tell me again, why do you get to decide what you will say?

The other logic I don't get are the "pay me better and I'll comply with your rules" guys. When I made $5.00 an hour as a kid in the pizza shop, I followed their rules - or I expected to get fired.

Um, I don't know whats in you FOM, but mine says I'm supposed to make the announcements that my company dictates. You clearly stated that you will continue to say Mesaba Airlines (instead of Delta flight if instructed) because it says Mesaba on your paycheck. It doesn't touch a nerve other than I don't get the logic. I try to do as the company that pays my check dictates....not just what I want 'cause I'm a tough guy rebel!
