APA clumsiness has been legendary for years and it's stronger then ever. Remember, they still are convinced the'yre going to bring AMR to their knees with HUGE raises while at the same time strangling a major revenue source (regional feed).

Sometimes one can only watch the delusional as they destroy themselves and walk off a cliff because they think they can fly. The most senior at AA will retire over the next 5 years or so. The bottom 30-40% will likely never see a captains seat for a decade or more as Int'l and domestic outsourcing continues in fashions like these. Eagle pilots will face a similar reality with those senior still working (but for less) and those junior either growing moldy in the right seat, quitting for something else or ultimately swinging from their closet rails on a hotel overnight.

I fear that you are correct. AE will have CRJ's and outsource the 175's and 190's.
