Anybody Interested in a CRJ type?
Ok, some wouldn't do it, but getting past that I want to know if anyone knows anyone out there that would like to get typed in an RJ for $12.5k with me as there sim partner. I know a place that does em for this price and no, I don't work for them; only looking for a sim partner. If we go together this is the price for each of us: alone it's 18k. Any takers? Anyone who might be interested in it and getting it cheaper, pls respond with your email address or IM id so I can get in touch with you. Tks

Take that 12.5k and invest it, you will thank yourself 10/20/40 years from now.
If you are spending that to get yourself more qualified for a flying job, buy a huge block of multi-time with it; it'll make you far more qualified than a type rating you can't use in the Barbie Jet.

Shoot...with 12.5K...(with a light twin at $200/hr)...you could get around 70 hours of Multi-Engine PIC and real world experience. Save your money for something that will benefit you in the long run...
Just my .02 cents...

Lets think this through. 12.5K could buy:
Down payment on a house.
IRA or retirement fund.
Pay off credit cards and oustanding loans.
Or you could by a worthless typed rating that will most likely be placed on your commercial certificate and get you a low paying job lacking a stable future.
You might want to hold on to your 12.5k and re-think this one out.
