I was MKE based in 2007, when the base first opened for SkW. I could fly on YX, DL, or UA.

Everyone in the company is eligible for UA benefits, provided they pay the opt-in fee every year. As for AirTran; HDQ, DEN & ORD flight crews, MKE & ORD MX employees all have the choice to opt in to AirTran. If they choose to opt in to AirTran, they forfeit ALL DAL travel benefits but they still retain UAL. Now, an employee who opted in for AirTran can still travel on DAL but only for company purposes.

Recap:
United: Everyone gets
DL: Everyone gets
AirTran: Only certain people get the option, but they MUST forfeit ALL DAL travel privileges, however they do retain their UAL privileges.

Thanks JJ, sorry to speak to soon on the DAL/FL privilege mutual exclusivity.
