Off topic, but I feel the need to say it. 95% of female pilots are a menace; downright terrible. There I said it

On a positive note, I heard that Colgan finally fired Jess S. a year or so ago.

Yeah, it took a stick shaker to get the company to fire her.

She's still infamous with some people who were at Chautauqua back in the day.

Any chance Colgan would hire someone just below minimums? I have 975 TT and 198 ME. Taking forever for me just to get 25 hours at my flight school.

See if you can rent a C-152 for 25 hours. If you can find someone to split time, you would save a little bit.

I'm guessing with the number of applicants who meet and/or exceed the minimums you're going to want to at the very least meet the posted minimums.

I agree. With the way things are at present, meeting the competitive minimums, not just the minimums, is a must. To give you an idea of what sort of numbers they are looking for, a friend of mine just got hired with Colgan with about 2000 TT and 450 ME.

I disagree. A lot of high time people but some regionals won't touch them because of said pilot leaving soon as they get recalled, if they are in fact furloughed. Also, some like the low time guys. Not sure if Colgan is one of those regionals.

just my .000003214 cents

Why not let them tell you they're not interested. Apply. If they're interested they will contact you for a phone screen and then if that goes well an interview. You will never know unless you try right? Good luck.
