I'd bet spirits MEC isn't full of a bunch of management loving reps who simply want a big signing bonus, small raise and continuation of the status quo for the 10+ year guys. Your reps in ATL, former MEM, and former MSP Captain rep all just wanted a deal to be done so they put TA 1 on the table for us to shoot down. Had they decided to have a spine and send the negotiators back to the table we would have been released by now. You all need to pay attention to who gets elected into these positions. MSP CA rep is up for election, you all (LEC 129) should be getting a ballot soon, make sure you find out who stands for what and who will push for us to get what we deserve!

That's false. I've heard some good ones but I have to say I haven't heard that one from anyone that was in the room with him. It's in the NMB's court and we are all looking to see how they play.

Wow, management was using the same tactics back in '04 with their negotiations. Nice to see nothing has changed.

I left in '07 and was warned we were nearly there with a contract and I'd regret my decision. I would be walking away from a huge retro check and some really nice contract changes.

To answer the obvious question, I have no regrets!

Maybe in 2007 an average contract would have been ok, but mgmt has burned so many bridges and made so much $$$ in their back pockets off of our performance, contract duration, and staffing #'s through the years that they've got to understand they will have to bleed a little in order to get it done. After all, we've been hemorrhaging for 5 + years! They still ultimately win the war, but we can at least make it respectable.

So the lifers with DUIs can get their 401-k's fattened up at the expense of junior FOs who will not be able to pay for medical care?

That's your proposal, Doug? I liked you better when you were still charlie-foxing the maintenance operation.

I wish I still worked there so I could offer you a lick of my all-day sucker.

Just wait for the retort. How was this ever allowed to be an "URGENT" crewtrac message from the same folks that brought the sick call policy last week? They are uniting the group against them. Their tactics are beyond me.

Ken, man. Do they have "non-urgent" CrewTrac messages? I mean, parking lot changes in MSP are marked "urgent" for DTW, MEM and ATL guys.

Management was upset because the UNION gave them a "last, best and final offer?" Yeah, pot meet kettle. 2006 called to remind you that's happened before from the other side of the table....
