July is the month the pilot group might get something done around here.

With lines averaging 93 hours, there isn't much room for guys to be picking open time up for 200%.

Oh yeah. Special thanks to the line holder that picked up the trip I had been JA'd or EXT'd for, at least I would have gotten a comp day and 150%. ME ME ME ME ME ME ME

That's your proposal, Doug? I liked you better when you were still charlie-foxing the maintenance operation.

I wish I still worked there so I could offer you a lick of my all-day sucker.
Hilarious!

Is this the part where I say "You are the union"? The company's propaganda is so far in left field I'm sure legal put the fist to their own forehead when it came out. Your MEC works for YOU. There is absolutely NO reason for this to get drug out on our account- your officers work for free and are at the same pay scale as the next guy.... That being said there is no way the MEC could agree to CONCESSIONS from TA1. Is that what you want? I know my phone has been on fire with guys telling me where they stand and I am right there with them. Maybe you feel differently- have you contacted your rep?

Well at least they didn't Fedex overnite it, signature required like thay did for the last one........and since i was expecting an important package and the fedex driver left the little "we missed you" note on my door I drove 45 minutes to the Fedex pickup that day to pick it up...only to find out it was a letter from Phil and the gang.....you talk about PO'd.....

I hope the company propaganda is a joke that we were only negotiating retirement and 401K benefits for the top few. The match is actually kind of funny while being insulting as well. For those of you that don't know the match for 1-5 years of service is only 25% of the first 5% that you contribute. I contributed the 5% to get the match last year and that only equated to $320 that the company had to dish up toward my 401K.

Meanwhile, I keep getting a pop-up on our union website that Air Wisconsin gets 4% of their salary regardless if they contribute or not and they have a smaller pilot group (especially now that Colgan has joined our ranks). What are we doing to help the industry?

I was flying with a senior pilot (15 years at most regionals is senior) and he was bragging to me that while our negotiators were on the phone arguing about vacation slide to one of or senior management (who is involved directly in our negotiations, and happenned to be on speaker phone) , that it wasn't needed to get us to vote in a new TA. All we needed was a few small tokens and it would pass, undermining our negotiators and the pilot group as well.

FWIW from an evil spawn of satan senior guy, that CA and you are both sorely mistaken if you think our senior guys will give up an additional 4-6 weeks off a year that we will now not be getting with a well placed slide or buffer days...if that is indeed the case...

Point is he took it upon himself to tell the company's negotiators what this pilot group would accept, thus circumventing our own union. Not a good idea.
