Let the RAH guys worry about their career and you worry about yours. It does no good what so ever to "hate" another airline. This middle school mentality is getting old FAST!
You know one thing I'm curious about, and sure someone at F9 has the insight, but I'm wondering what Frontier was able to do on their leases while they were in BK. DAL/NWA made some great moves while in BK. If Frontier was able to make similar progress with the bus fleet while in BK they might be staying around for longer than you think. Anyone know what was negotiated during BK?

Guys upgrading to the bus is not the #1 issue at the heart of the arbitration
Since you seem to be speaking for the group as a whole, mind explaining your groups priorities/"wants" from the SLI.

Arbitration will end soon enough. Hopefully it all ends there.

I don't speak for the group as a whole as my original post said that OF THE GUYS I'VE TALKED TO, nobody cares about the bus. Now if you want to try and divert it to an all or nothing type of pedestrian argument, I'm not really interested. I'm sure the "groups" priorities are more than just one. We'll see come August....

Now who is trying to "divert"? When I questioned you earlier about making a blanket statement for the group you seemed confident in your assertion. I am only asking you to clarify your groups priorities since you clearly stated what they weren't.

Ok toughguy, you win. That was my sole intention; to divert the question because you had me nailed dead to rights. Well played swordsman. (shaking head and chuckling)

Scope violation? This is why there are 3......er 4 or 5(I can't keep up) certificates. This is how Bedford got around American's scope, so he could fly 170s for Delta. And now, he has Republic to get around Delta scope as well.

The concern of most at RAH is career progression, just like those at F9. So it is indirectly about the airbus, but its more about all future airplanes brought on by the company. Seniority determines a career. With a new contract, F9 pilots may want to displace RAH captains off the 190 in the future. Its not about one sacred airplane.

yes...scope violation....it doesnt matter if mr bedford gets 20 certificates....its a violation, that was why mesaba was forced to sell air tran when they owned it for a short time back in the esrly 90's...and presidential was forced to sell the charter 737 when they code-shared with united ...there are several other examples but im getting amnesia...the parent company under any reason may not operate own etc .....no shell games allowed...

You might wanna call Mr. Arpey, because he evidently doesn't realize that Republic Airways Holdings, the parent company of American Connection carrier Chautauqua, already operates a whole bunch of E170/E175/E190s on their Shuttle America & Republic certificates and has since at least late 2004.
