Skyway Airlines
#22
Update: Skyway is hiring for another class next month. Despite previous rumors, nothing comfirmed about the RFP at midwest as of the ALPA elections last week in Vegas. The only people who really know are the CEOs and BODs of the airlines involved. In fact, they probably CAN'T let anything out because of confidentiallity agreements. In short, everything you know is wrong. Except skyway IS hiring.

Skyway currently has 8 Beeches. Last I heard there were 2 down for AD compliance and I'm not sure if they are back yet or not. It was going to take a couple months to repair the problems. As for the bases, all Skyway is currently based in Milwaukee. They don't have any a/c or crew out stationed. Not all they do is EAS either. Alot is, but not all. They still send Beeches to STL...talk about a long flight with no bathroom for little kids. I've got some interesting stories.

Air Wisconsin has signed an agreement to operate 80% of Air Midwest's regional flying with RJ 200's, set to beging in early '07. Skyway will probably shrink to a 328 operation, and eventually disappear! It's just the way it is.
