Pilot numbers

Pilot numbers
With all this talk of "super-regionals," I thought it would be interesting to look at some pilot numbers at each airline. This list includes all pilots on the senority list, though I've listed most airlines with significant furloughs (+10% or so,) in the details. (a = active, f = furloughed.) The data is from the APC main site, but I've rounded the numbers in most cases, as staffing numbers change month to month, and some of the data (particulary for smaller/less well known companies) is older and of questionable accuracy.
Skywest holdings is leaving all the other regionals in the Dust. They are a larger pilot group than Airways, Southwest, Jetblue, or Airtran to name a few. For all the Whailing about Republic, they are just under 3000 pilots (I can't find the numbers for how many midwest pilots there are, so that's what the ? is for.)
For all the news surrrounding the TSA/compass purchase, TSA holdings has less than 1100 pilots on their collective lists. That still makes them smaller than Eagle, Comair, and Mesa. Here is the Data:

Its actually higher than that, as I didn't include Alaska, UPS, or the fractionals. It is still lower than is was at the peak post 9/11, though, and 70% of the furloughs belong to UAL and AMR.
