Yes, it's a TSA requirement for you to be issued your crew badge I believe. AWAC also does their own backround investigation as well.

* Why should we choose you over the other applicants today?
* What makes a good airline pilot?

* What will your biggest challenge during training?

Just had ground school this month. The best interview advice right now is to know systems, specifically the fuel system. One big question they are asking is dealing with ejector pumps, scavenge pumps, etc.
