Believe me, I wish we would. That being said, one of the biggest obstacles to that goal is that a lot of Skywest pilots dislike the constant--and somewhat undeserved--berating they get from those they see as "ALPA cheerleaders".

I don't think I ever said anything about ALPA. Go ahead and vote in SAPA. That would be a start. Anyways, as an ALPA cheerleader myself, I don't see why anyone's "berating" should stop Skywest pilots from doing the right thing and unionizing. But I guess the sensibilities of some here are too fragile.

I don't think it's a "sensibility" thing. I think they think that people that come across as d-bags on the internets probably aren't the type they want leading their pilot group. It's probably not fair to make that assumption about an organization based on internet loudmouths, but unfortunately that's a big part of where a younger pilot group gets their information.
