You are not allowed to say that on here. You will be labeled a "company man" and a liar for defending any check airman, even if he gave the pink slip for being 4 months behind on Jepps, turning the screen red on 3 V1 cuts or turning into a mountain in Helena while making up your own missed approach by flying the terrain mode map. Trust me it happened to me

Some of the "company" guys got a bit spooled up over the bonus because it involved money. While I don't appreciate some of the personal issues that caused, but I understand the gripe. Call me a "Company" guy, if you can work out some positive space tickets from MEM-DTW-MEM that would be great too....

If the 90%+ yes vote for the new contract says anything about the Pinnacle/Mesaba/Cogan guys then I say go to Eagle because clearly the other guys have no interest in improving this profession and are bringing us all down.

You bought us, that's funny.

I love how people are so tied to their companies when it suits them and bashing them when they feel like it.

Hypocrites

you didnt buy anything. you just happen to work for a bottom feeding regional that has made enough money off your own back that THEY bought another airline. Your YES vote hurts us all.

Interesting how the majority of the failures seem to come from one check airmen who has no personality, no charm, and never smiles, while the other check airmen don't have nicknames and reputations. Why would 9E let a man continue to be a check airmen when people constantly call in sick for his checkrides? Oh....I remember, we have terrible management, that's why.

Could it be that "Pink-Slip" creates a "nerve-racking" environment by his straight face, acts like a drill sergeant, poor choice of words, and has no conversational skills what-so-ever, no people skills, turns up the heat (figuratively) during the checkride, which massively contributes to a terrible reputation that sets the stage for poor performance in the simulator and brings out the worst during your checkride???

Could it be any of those???

PS....I hope it is really you pinkslip, and I hope you read this!
