Interviewed earlier today and got the conditional pre offer, next class after April 11th is May 2nd!

 

I don't want this to come out the wrong way, but did anyone who interviewed NOT get the offer? I mean, I'm excited for this opportunity and I think this is going to be a good company going into the future which is why I chose it, but all 7 people who interviewed with me got the conditional offer. Are people getting the conditional but not the firm? Believe me, I want them to hire as many as they can take now so there's movement behind me, but is there any discretion here? Perhaps they're more strict about the kind of people to which the extend the invitation to interview, but there seems to be a very high success rate. The people in my interview seemed sharp for the most part but I guess I find it disconcerting that their system of screening seems to be whether or not you show up. I know they need people, but it'd be comforting if it seemed like they were choosing the most quality people.

Again, don't get me wrong because I'm looking forward to working with all of you, and I don't think for a second that I'm more qualified or better than any of you, but I guess I'm just wondering if anyone out there interviewed and didn't get the offer.

 

2 guys that interviewed with me dident get the conditional offer and at least 1 dident get firm offer.

 

Hmmm, interesting. Well then I retract my previous statement. I shouldn't have made an assumption from such a small sample size. I must have gone on a day with some good people.

 

Half of my interview group received a conditional offer... not sure on the firm.

 

My group was 8 people, I was the first done and left but I know one for sure did not get the pre and one didnt get the firm... Ill find out Monday who else got the firm.

Just read over on JC a kid got called to go back and redo the sim

I interviewed with 6 me and another guy got the offer after but he did not get the firm.

Also I know I guy that was in the sim checkride and failed the wrong engine and got to redo the sim a couple days later.

So I dont know how it works just looking forward to getting through class and on the line.

 

Folks at Mesaba were great, however Pinnacle has the final say. I know of one guy who got the rescind offer email from Pinnacle the day after Mesaba gave him a class date. Weirdoramma!

 

Please don't tell me they hired a guy that feathered the wrong engine
